Thank you Dancinginthemud for nominating me for the Sunshine Blogger Award. I admire your courage in starting your blog. You are thriving despite what you have survived. You have a beautiful website and I feel a comradery through our social media interactions. I’m rooting for your success.

Where do you live, and how long have you lived there?

I live in Miami, in the great sunshine state of Fl. I moved here at the age of 9 from Freeport, Bahamas.

What is your favorite type of vacation? (camping, road trip, beach, cruise…)

This is a hard one. I love both land and sea equally! They each have their pros and cons. One ‘pro’ of land travel is flexibility with time. A cruise allows you to be flexible with money since the majority of it is prepaid. A con of land travel is that you’re constantly making preparations for your next meal. On the other hand, the cruise ship does all the work for you.

Who is the last person you texted?

My friend Sherley.

Who or what was the subject of the last picture you took?

I took a picture of my website and sent it to my friend to show her the countries represented in Google Analytics.

When did you start blogging?

I had an ‘AHA’ moment on July 18, 2019, Naked Traveler.  A week later I purchased my domain and began writing. I did a soft launch on my website this week and hope to fully launch by the end of the month.

Why did you start blogging?

I started blogging because I wanted to be able to merge my passion for writing and traveling. I also wanted to show solo travel in a positive light.

What is one thing on your wishlist or bucket list that you think you will accomplish?

I will have a successful blog.

What is one thing that you keep in your purse/wallet that might surprise people?

Lots of tissues/napkins. If I have to sneeze or wipe my nose I like to be prepared. They also come in handy when eating on-the-go.

If you had to perform in a talent show, what would you do?

Sing (another passion). If there’s a karaoke bar, you’ll find me sober and on stage!

What is one hobby you have started recently (besides blogging)?

I haven’t officially started, but I would like to get better at photography and editing.

Where do you find your inspiration? (People, books, sermons, mistakes…?)

I find inspiration through my travels both past, present, and future. I can never run out of content! Even when I’m not traveling, Miami itself is inspiration.
